Shari Borkin

Who is Shari Borkin?

Shari is an artist. She received her BA degree from Sonoma State University, CA and her Master’s degree from College of Notre Dame Belmont, CA. Shari has shown her work in many galleries throughout the years. Shari has worked in several kinds of art media and is currently using watercolors and graphite for her dog portraits. In her book illustrations, she uses colored pencils, ink, and acrylics.

Shari is currently an art therapist vendor with the North Bay Regional Center (Vendor #PN1270).

Shari has been a Registered Art Therapist with the American Art Therapy Association for over 25 years. Shari has taught art in elementary schools, specialty schools, at Shasta College, in the prison system and in private practice. As an art therapist and art instructor, Shari has worked with clients of all ages with disabilities and finds the ability in all of them.

Shari is the author and illustrator of The Movie Chair book. Shari is currently doing book readings and “Meet and Greets” in bookstores, schools and libraries in California.

Shari is a Feng Shui educator. Shari teaches through Zoom lectures, how energy flows through one’s environment, how to enhance more Chi and remove environmental energy blocks to help improve one’s overall wellbeing, including plants and pets. Shari has studied under Sacramento’s 25-year veteran Feng Shui practitioner Mary Meith, and uses Mary’s EMF labyrinth cures.
